📰 PRESS KIT – WILDLIFEPHOTOGRAPHER
The mobile app for understanding and observing wildlife, ethically
Introduction
WildlifePhotographer is a mobile application designed by a wildlife photographer, for anyone who spends time in the field observing wild animals.
It is not meant to help users get closer to wildlife,
but to better understand animal behavior, rhythms and territories, in order to observe more accurately — and disturb less.
The app brings together, in a simple and intuitive interface, the essential tools for preparation, field scouting and species monitoring, whether you are a photographer, naturalist or passionate observer.
Observing more does not mean getting closer.
Positioning
WildlifePhotographer follows a naturalist and ethical approach.
At a time when human pressure on natural environments keeps increasing, the app proposes a different path:
taking the time to understand the land before looking for the image.
It helps users develop a deeper reading of the living world, taking into account:
-
seasons,
-
sensitive biological periods (breeding, rut, raising young),
-
weather conditions,
-
and species-specific constraints.
WildlifePhotographer is not a performance-driven app.
It is a tool for understanding and anticipation, designed for responsible field use.
Why this app?
Observing or photographing wildlife requires far more than luck.
Between:
-
scouting locations,
-
taking field notes,
-
weather conditions,
-
biological cycles,
-
camera traps,
-
and long-term site memory,
the need for a centralized, reliable and discreet tool became obvious.
WildlifePhotographer was born in the field, from a concrete need:
having a companion capable of organizing accumulated observations without distorting them.
The goal is simple:
help users anticipate better, understand better, and respect wildlife rhythms.
About the founder
Jacques Bibinet is a Swiss wildlife photographer.
He dedicates a large part of his time to observing and photographing wildlife, with an approach centered on field reading, animal behavior and ethics.
His work relies on patience, analysis and understanding of natural environments, rather than proximity or spectacle.
“I designed WildlifePhotographer as the tool I wished I had in the field: discreet, reliable, and respectful of wildlife.”
Alongside the app, Jacques Bibinet shares his field approach through educational content (videos, field workshops), aiming to promote a more conscious and responsible way of observing nature.
